Poster Printing

For standard poster printing, we recommend our satin or gloss poster paper.
If you're after a non reflective matte looking paper then our Matte paper is your best option.
Another great choice is our synthetic paper. While thinner, it is water proof and tear resistant and has a nice smooth silky finish

If you are unable to supply a print ready PDF, The Print Company may be able to use other files and fix any that are not print ready. Get in touch with us to find out more.

In some cases we may be able to do same day poster printing. Get in contact with our friendly team and we can see if it' possible.
Large volumes, late in the day orders or in busy periods it may not be possible.

Depending on the stock type chosen, we can do up to 1350mm (width of roll) wide by as tall as you require.

Some paper types we keep in smaller rolls, so please contact us if you require an oversized poster print.

The Print ready PDFs should be high resolution (300dpi images), CMYK colours, with 3mm of bleed on all sides and trim marks supplied.

Bleed is area where an image or object of colour runs off the edge of the page (leaving no white border).  For poster printing, the minimum required bleed amount (or extra that the image or object passes over the edge of the page) is 3mm on each side.

The cost of poster printing depends on several factors, including the size, quantity, paper type, and finishing options. You can use our online calculator to get an estimate of the cost or contact us for a custom quote.

For orders within Australia, deliveries are made using Australia Post or local couriers and usually take 1-3 business days for metropolitan areas, although it may take longer for country areas. It is important to provide a daytime address to ensure successful delivery. For international orders, deliveries are made using Australia Post's international service and may take between 10-15 business days.

We don't have a minimum order quantity for poster printing, so you can order as few or as many posters as you need

Our typical turnaround time for poster printing is 2-3 business days, but it may vary depending on the size and complexity of your project. We also offer rush printing services if you need your posters in a hurry.

The Print Company offers a range of poster printing sizes, including A3 (297x420mm), A2 (420 x 594mm), A1 (594 x 841mm), and A0 (841 x 1188mm).
Custom sizes are possible, but they require a custom quote. Contact us for all custom sizes.

gsm means grams per square metre. The lower the gsm, the thinner the paper/card stock and the higher the gsm, the thicker the paper/card stock.
A typical standard paper you would use in your home or office printer would be 80-90gsm. A letter head or with compliments slip are generally 100gsm. Standard brochures, flyers or handouts are typically 150-200gsm. Premium flyers, brochures, invitations and postcards are between 200-300gsm. Business cards start at 300gsm to 350gsm and for premium cards go from 400 to 600gsm for specialty cards.
Posters range from 150gsm to 220gsm in general depending on the size and purpose.

Print ready PDFs is a term used to describe how the file is setup and saved.

To achieve best print results, your print file must contain bleed, trim marks, high resolution images, fonts converted to outlines or embedded and transparencies set as required.

Delivery times will depend on product type, quantity and the complexity of the order (for eg: finishing or special print effects). 

For simple product printing (for eg: Standard business cards), you can expect delivery in 2-3 business day.
For complex and labour intense products (for eg: foiling, boolets, speciality finishing), we estimate delivery between 5-7 business days. 
Products that require Foils can take up to 7-10 business days for delivery.
